How many containers can a windcoop ship carry?

Our first line will connect Marseille to Madagascar. Designed to harness the power of the wind to its fullest, the 90-metre-long Windcoop container ship can carry 210 containers while reducing its CO₂ emissions by 60% compared with conventional vessels.

When will the windcoop container ship set sail in France-Madagascar?

The container ship will set sail on our first France-Madagascar route in May 2027. This Windcoop cargo ship is the first in a planned series. We want to develop a fleet of low-carbon ships that are ready to meet the challenges of international transport. Our goal: To design shipping routes that meet the needs of our customers.

When will the first wind-powered cargo vessel be built?

Construction of our first wind-powered cargo vessel will begin in 2025. Our goal is for it to be collectively owned by a broad community of shipowners who are passionate about driving the transition to low-carbon maritim transport.

How many tons can a grain de sail carry?

The original Grain de Sail was a 24-meter vessel capable of carrying 50 tons, which has successfully completed transatlantic voyages equivalent to three times around the world, laying the groundwork for future projects. The company marked another milestone in January 2024 with the launch of its second cargo sailing ship, the Grain de Sail II.
